I was so honored when Jaipur Living approached me to curate a collection of my favorite picks from their product selection! I've always been a longtime fan and frequent visitor to their showrooms when I'm on a buying trip.

My top 2021 picks for area rugs and carpets, include striped rugs, felt rugs, designer rugs, jute and natural fiber rugs, berber carpets, sheepskins, and dhurrie rugs.

I chose a variety of rugs that work for any aesthetic! Rather than just show the rug, I want to show you my inspiration so that you can see how you might incorporate these with your aesthetic and vibe.

Starting with a global boho chic vibe! One of my personal favorites because it ticks so many boxes like wanderlust, casual and eclecticism!

THE MONTCLAIR RUG: The Monteclair collection brings the classic flatweave look to outdoor spaces and high-traffic indoor areas. Inspired by Southwest details, the Shiloh area rug melds style and originality with a soft blush and cream colorway.

THE BOHEME RUG: The Boheme collection brings vintage inspiration to life with ornate, worldly designs and a timeless distress effect. The Rhoda area rug features a digitally printed Persian medallion in faded yet stunning hues of orange and gray.

THE ETHO RUG BY NIKKI CHU: Bold and statement making, this hand-tufted area rug designed by Nikki Chu lends global modernity to chic spaces. A large-scale dot and linear tribal design catches the eye in a sleek black and white colorway,

This rug spoke to me because it showcases an Art Deco-inspired motif done in a modern way. It's urban and cool and the structural repeating pattern takes me to the streets of Paris and even Manhattan.

THE PATHWAYS RUG: Pathways by Verde Home is a contemporary and livable assortment of exquisitely made micro-tufted designs. Crafted of naturally dyed wool, the versatile, neutral palette of these rugs is sourced from varied species and colors of sheep for a dimensional and organic-inspired look.

This rug has all of the elements that I love...color AND pattern! I could see this working in so many spaces from a modern loft to a kids space!

THE AMADO RUG: The ultra-mod and perfectly geometric Amado collection infuses interiors with bold patterns and rich color schemes. An eclectic design and vibrant multicolor scheme come together to form the Carson rug's dynamic appeal. Hand tufted of wool, this retro-inspired rug boasts cushioned looped pile for an indulgent texture underfoot.

I love an outdoor rug that is pretty enough to use indoors! The Fresno rug is both global and gritty. Because it's an outdoor rug, this would be awesome in a high traffic area of your home.

THE FRESNO RUG: The Fresno collection lends a relaxed, casual feel to outdoor spaces and high-traffic indoor areas. The black and cream-colored Citali area rug features an asymmetrical fern frond motif that creates a global look and unique texture.

I adore the Kalesi rug! This color way reminds me so much of lavender fields in the French countryside. It feels so vintage too which is hard to find with a new rug.

THE KALESI RUG: Rich with detail and saturated color, the Kalesi collection makes a statement with updated traditional flair. The Calla rug showcases an intricate pattern in a unique gray and vintage gold colorway.

This rug is a truly a piece of abstract art to me! This is such a beautiful piece for a modern home!

THE PROJECT THEORY RUG: The award-winning Project Theory collection by Kavi explores the exceptional beauty in flaws. Made of lustrous rayon made from bamboo and hand-carded wool, each tightly knotted piece employs 180 artisans in rural India. The hand-knotted Neev rug showcases a modern abstract design in bold multicolor hues on a tonal gray backdrop.

I love a rug that has both warm and cool tones in it - it creates total balance. This rug would be such a beautiful way to warm up any room.

THE CARDAMOM RUG: The hand-tufted Cardamom collection boasts vivid jewel tones and uniquely distressed Turkish motifs, crafted to emulate traditional sun-faded, vintage designs. The Cressida rug showcases a stunning medallion motif in a rich color palette of dusty pink, gold, brown, and deep blue. Inspired by the artistic imperfection of dye-lot changes in perfectly aged wool textiles, the looped pile of this rug features tonal colorway depth and textural dimension.
