I'm in the final stretch of the One Room Challenge and I miiiiiiiiight be panicking just a wee bit! It has really come along, it's been cleared out and cleaned and all of the large furnishings are in as well as some of the accent pieces. My husband was gone this weekend on a hiking trip so I was able to really spend some time in this patio space and rethink the original space plan that I had come up with. Sometimes it's fun for my to just be experimental and play around with the layout until it feels just right. Here's how it looks at the moment.
I live in San Diego and most of us have drought tolerant backyards with mulch and no grass. We do have a garden area where we grow vegetables and it's looking really lush right now.....especially the bougainvillea! I just love how jungle-icious it is right now!
The bad news is the actual patio cover is in terrible shape and I still have to finish painting it! I've done some of it but I need to getter' done this next week! The plan is to do the underside in BEHR Silver Ash and then the trim in BEHR Gunmetal Grey to give it a more custom look. It's currently in progress and I just know it's going to look so much better!
I also purchased some plants from Home Depot this week that I still need to pot.
I can't wait to finish it off and reveal it next week! This has truly been a blast!
