My client, a bachelor and single dad, wanted his home to reflect him and this season of his life. A billiards table was the perfect solution to transform this former dining room space from purely functional to functionally fun. My client is a Lakers super fan so we ordered a custom pool table with purple felt, added autographed Lakers jerseys and even framed my clients jerseys from his football days. The pièce de résistance, is the custom acrylic artwork of The Staples Center that wraps the corner.
The powerful crack of an opening break creates the perfect atmosphere to relax, entertain, and enjoy some friendly competition.
My lovely client with a penchant for historic homes, purchased this 1920's Spanish Revival home on the historic registry. She wanted to update her kitchen but wasn't ready to commit to a full gut renovation. As her design co-conspirator, we chose to create a tuxedo style kitchen so that we could use her existing cabinetry. We removed the over abundance of recessed lighting and culled and curated original revival lighting and sconces from all over the country. We added an eat-in kitchen and custom storage banquette seating and her kitchen is now her favorite room in her home. Her design style is a blend of spanish revival, collected and timeless.
My client, a high performing entrepreneur, asked me to design a space for him that offers the comfort of home with the efficiency of an office for him and his team. Having just rebranded, I thought that this was a great opportunity to design custom branded pieces to make the space feel modern and professional. I custom designed signage, glass dry erase boards as well as motivational wall art. The vibe is casual but the branding keeps it from being too relaxed. This is a hardworking space that inspires peak productivity and performance.

I have the great honor and fortune of working on some of San Diego's most exquisite historical gems for a variety of reasons.
My client, the creative genius behind Briddie's Floret, a non-profit floral business, reached out to me to help her prepare her historic Point Loma Timken Mansion for a photo shoot highlighting her home, her family and her business in a 6-page spread in San Diego Magazine. Before I was a Designer, I was a Photo Stylist for a catalog house. Having a Photo Stylist/Designer to help spruce up your home before a photo shoot or event allows your to focus on your guests or in this case, the camera crew! My client is an avid vintage huntress so her home was a dream to spruce up for me. You can get a tour of this gorgeous historic home in San Diego Magazine HERE.
Also, read more in this article HERE about how each of the bouquets she creates supports a social cause. The custom roman shades that I designed for the in-home office space also landed on the cover of Vision Magazine, an industry publication, for the color issue.

This Laundry / Decontamination Room was designed for Seasonal Living Magazine's Luxury Designer Showhouse. Inspired by the deep blue Pacific Ocean and rugged cliffs along the Malibu coastline, I designed this luxury laundry room to focus on style and sanitation. All of the surfaces in this space are wipeable and scrubbable but the space still feels warm and inviting. You can view this home in its entirety HERE.

My client, reached out to me after moving into her dream home. She wanted to reuse her childhood bedroom set for her son but it was time worn and well loved not to mention white and girly. First, I updated the furniture with navy blue paint then pulled the space together with a classic color scheme of red, white and blue. We used vintage flags as wall decor and wood and leather accents to warm up the space. Her son loves his new bedroom and it's now a space that will grow with him. Her style is vintage modern.
When my clients purchased their historic 1920's Spanish Revival Style home, our mission was to reclaim it's original beauty. A central component of Spanish Revival style is the contrast of dark and light. We repainted all of the walls in a fresh white paint and paid special attention to sourcing dark rich furnishings with carved turnings. We replaced all of the lighting with original old world pieces that were sourced from antique vendors throughout the country.
It’s never too early for a girl to feel like a princess. Daddy wanted an opulent room filled with whimsy and glamour for his princess. I started by custom designing a large mural and added a regal touch to this girl's room by installing a bed crown with flowing linen fabric trimmed with lavender pompoms to create a stunning focal point of the window behind the headboard. The Disney nightstands, pink crystal Minnie Mouse lamps and a crystal chandelier complete the grandeur.

This modern Batman bedroom satisfies my clients' son's desire to be a superhero while still allowing the space to grow with him. I set the right mood by custom designing a large cityscape wall mural as the backdrop for this space. The bedding is packed with POW! This little superhero can now drift away to dreamland to defend Gotham City.
My client was ready for a change in her master bedroom. Her bedroom felt dark and heavy which was the opposite of how she wanted it to feel. We took her room from Blah to Blue by repurposing some of her existing furniture pieces and updating them with a coat of stately blue paint. I lightened and brightened the walls, replaced the heavy bed with a linen tufted headboard and splurged on custom window treatments. Her design style is time-honored, clean and tasteful.

My client, intelligent and a world traveler hired me to redesign her master bedroom suite. A doctor and busy single mother who frequently travels internationally on medical missions, wanted a space that felt like a retreat but also showcased her collection of textiles, wall art and collectibles in an intentional way. Her design style modern global.
My clients, a fun-loving generous couple, hired me to design a room for their teen. This is a flex space where she can sleep, relax and distance learn. This family loves all things gaming and cosplay so I purposely created a neutral color palette so that we could layer in all of the whimsical touches.

My bachelor client wanted a room that was designed to reflect his personal interests of skateboarding, music and travel. I used his collection of skateboard decks as the jumping off point for the color scheme in this space. His design style is eclectic with a vintage latin twist.

I designed this Gentlemen's Retreat as a personal refuge for my client. A place to relax and unwind, binge watch football on Sundays, cuddle with his two young children in the evenings (shout out to single dads) or a place to work on his laptop without disruption. He loves Lake Havasu, so I designed this custom wall mural of the London Bridge to anchor the space.

My client, an asset management company, recently rebranded their 600 unit multi-family property located in the seaside community of Point Loma. My design firm was responsible for updating the leasing and maintenance offices to blend with their new brand aesthetic. The new brand colors are blue, orange, yellow and green. The Point Loma community is best known for its rugged coastline, yachting and sports fishing activities so we agreed that a colorful modern nautical aesthetic fit the bill for this space.

A historic home for modern living. This home had all of the charming quirks that I adore about 1930’s historic homes...the scalloped siding detail, a sleeping porch, a potting shed and even a milk bottle door. Now I understand those old Milkman jokes! My clients asked me to add even more pizazz with my signature pops of color. I embraced it's charming quirks by adding a vintage dry sink to the potting shed, staging the milk door with a vintage milk bottle and adding an outdoor lounge to the upstairs sleeping porch. It's perfect for hanging out with a glass of wine at the end of the day or inviting friends over for a BBQ.

My kind and generous client plays host to foreign exchange students every summer. She wanted to create a space that welcomes them with open arms and feels like a home away from home. During the remainder of the year, my client is a micro-entreprenuer and she uses this space as an Airbnb short term rental. Travelers base their booking choices almost entirely on what they see in the photos, and this room, she tells me, is wildly popular which she attributes to her vacation rental business’s success! The design style is a blend of traditional, eclectic and global.

Urban Meditation Studios are the coffee houses of the future. People in urban areas are craving a contemplative space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My client wanted to partition off a space in a commercial building to use for prayer and meditation. I commissioned the talented group at Tecture Inc. to collaborate and custom fabricate solutions for wall art and two large mobile industrial partitions. We chose a color palette of grey, pale green and white to create a relaxing atmosphere. The artwork, created from several tones of pale green and grey yarn, were overlapped strategically around a nail perimeter to reveal the words "be still" which set the tone of the space. A pair of freestanding partitions on casters were created from several hundred feet of white ribbon, which created a sense of privacy and allowed light through not to mention the beautiful shadows that they cast.

Coming off of a recent European vacation, my client hired me to bring pizzazz and energy to her beautiful historic 1930's home. She was so impressed with the architecture and cuisine that she experienced, she decided that she wanted to bring it into her dining space in a bold way. We chose a red paint called Caliente. Red is traditionally a favorite in dining rooms and restaurants because it stimulates the appetite and sparks lively conversation and laughter. Cheers to bringing the adventure into your home!

My client, an art and wine collector, wanted a space to showcase her original artwork as well as store her vast collection of wine. We opened up the a wall to extend the cabinet run into this space and added not one, but two wine refrigerators. A Moroccan area rug and live edge dining table with cantilever chairs anchor this space. It's a perfect multi-functional space to dine, work, entertain or take Zoom meetings.

When abstract artist, Ann Golumbuk, hired me to redesign her home, we really went for it! I used Ann's abstract art as the jumping off point for this space, I wanted to create a dining space that was dramatic, modern and fun. Bold blue is the perfect backdrop to her original artwork. We decided to have her paint the dining room table and mounted it on a pair of sturdy modern table bases. Lemony yellow chairs lighten up the space and brighten up the atmosphere. This project was recently featured in the Color Issue of Window Fashion Vision Magazine and San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine.

My client hired me to revitalize her lower level billiards room. For decades, it was the place where all of the kids hung out with their friends. The billiards table was dated and had taken a beating over the decades and the space overall was showing wear and tear. I repainted and re-carpeted the whole space and updated the existing billiards table by re-felting it in a vibrant orange color and had the base repainted in a metallic finish by an auto body shop. This is now a grown up space for entertaining and showcases the bulk of my client's original artwork. My client and this project was recently photographed to be featured in the upcoming Color Issue of a shelter magazine. Stay tuned.

My clients, now empty nesters, were ready to update their well loved and time worn family into a space that felt both comfortable and elevated. We replaced an old red sectional with a sleek, modern leather reclining sectional. We repainted the feature wall, updated the fireplace and added an larger television. To keep the space from feeling too cold, I added in layers of bold textiles. My client custom created artwork to flank the television and accentuate the curved wall. The challenge was to add a fiesta of colors to this bedroom but still have it feel warm and serene. My clients original art and vintage rugs were the jumping off point for this space. The bed was dressed with layers of Mexican inspired textiles with embroidered details, otomi folk pillows and serape style blankets.

Without saying a word, this home tells the story about who lives here and what their interests are. Let the moonshine and tiki spirit live on!

This Spanish Hacienda is all about classic style and timeless elegance. This dream estate home references 1920’s Mediterranean influences, which can be seen in the terra-cotta flooring, hand-hewn wood beams on the ceilings and eye-catching plaster walls. There is a striking mix of new and old which infuses character into the home. We replicated that mix with the decor. My client had many meaningful pieces that she wanted to incorporate into this space, her father’s original artwork, a large portrait painting of her mom, the coffee table her husband built, vintage rugs from her mother-in-law and her collection of Bavarian furnishings and decor. These pieces of her family’s history grounds this space and gives it a sense of place.

My client wanted to surprise her daughter with a new bohemian bedroom as a graduation present. We painted this space in a fresh white paint. Every bohemian princess needs a throne - the rattan cocoon chair with it's layers of textiles fit the bill.

My clients hired me to spruce up the exterior entrance of the hacienda style home. The walls were repainted in a bright white then layers of vibrant textiles adorn the space and make it welcoming.

My clients love hosting friends and family in their home. They engaged my services to add a splash of color and personality to their Casita. The challenge was to add the FUN to this functional space. We repainted all of the walls in a bright white paint so that it had a clean, timelessness to it. To jazz up the space, I brought in fun pops of blue and green textiles to dress the bed as well as the en suite bathroom. Organic elements like wood, wicker and succulents warm this space up so that it feels like a home away from home for their guests.
