BRIGHT, CALMING, CASUAL
My client, a single dad of two beautiful children, wanted to incorporate a softer side of his man cave for the breakfast nook. The kids adore "Finding Nemo" while eating pancakes in the morning. Two colorful custom coral panels compliment the colorful aquascape design in the aquarium. One of the benefits of an aquarium in your home is that it can reduce stress by bringing the calming effects of nature right into the home which is just what this single dad needs.
MASCULINE, SOPHISTICATED, VIBRANT
My client, a bachelor and single dad, wanted his home to reflect him and this season of his life. A billiards table was the perfect solution to transform this former dining room space from purely functional to functionally fun. My client is a Lakers super fan so we ordered a custom pool table with purple felt, added autographed Lakers jerseys and even framed my clients jerseys from his football days. The pièce de résistance, is the custom acrylic artwork of The Staples Center that wraps the corner.
The powerful crack of an opening break creates the perfect atmosphere to relax, entertain, and enjoy some friendly competition.
CHARMING, VINTAGE, FRESH
My lovely client with a penchant for historic homes, purchased this 1920's Spanish Revival home on the historic registry. She wanted to update her kitchen but wasn't ready to commit to a full gut renovation. As her design co-conspirator, we chose to create a tuxedo style kitchen so that we could use her existing cabinetry. We removed the over abundance of recessed lighting and culled and curated original revival lighting and sconces from all over the country. We added an eat-in kitchen and custom storage banquette seating and her kitchen is now her favorite room in her home. Her design style is a blend of spanish revival, collected and timeless.
MODERN, EFFICIENT, PRODUCTIVE
My client, a high performing entrepreneur, asked me to design a space for him that offers the comfort of home with the efficiency of an office for him and his team. Having just rebranded, I thought that this was a great opportunity to design custom branded pieces to make the space feel modern and professional. I custom designed signage, glass dry erase boards as well as motivational wall art. The vibe is casual but the branding keeps it from being too relaxed. This is a hardworking space that inspires peak productivity and performance.
ROMANTIC, VINTAGE, EFFORLESSLY CHIC
I have the great honor and fortune of working on some of San Diego's most exquisite historical gems for a variety of reasons.
My client, the creative genius behind Briddie's Floret, a non-profit floral business, reached out to me to help her prepare her historic Point Loma Timken Mansion for a photo shoot highlighting her home, her family and her business in a 6-page spread in San Diego Magazine. Before I was a Designer, I was a Photo Stylist for a catalog house. Having a Photo Stylist/Designer to help spruce up your home before a photo shoot or event allows your to focus on your guests or in this case, the camera crew! My client is an avid vintage huntress so her home was a dream to spruce up for me. You can get a tour of this gorgeous historic home in San Diego Magazine HERE.
Also, read more in this article HERE about how each of the bouquets she creates supports a social cause. The custom roman shades that I designed for the in-home office space also landed on the cover of Vision Magazine, an industry publication, for the color issue.
CHEERFUL, WHIMSICAL, FUN
Game night will never be the same! Together, my client and I decided that turning this space into a colorful game room for his kids was the way to go. Since gaming and movies go together like peanut butter and jelly, we added an extra large TV, comfortable seating and a vintage gaming console pre-loaded with 150 classic arcade games! The star of this space is the custom designed Pac Man wall covering paired with the coziest colorful shag rug and the custom etched monogrammed glass entry doors.
My chic client called me in to help her spruce up her new seven figure historical estate located in one of San Diego's most sought after neighborhoods.
Raise your hand if you never stopped loving beige. The current beige wave encompasses a range of neutral hues, from oatmeal to biscuit to sand. It pairs well with the other popular neutral, grey and when you add in a touch of blue it's stylish and chic.
STATELY, SOPHISTICATED, TIMELESS
MODERN, CLEAN, BOLD
This Laundry / Decontamination Room was designed for Seasonal Living Magazine's Luxury Designer Showhouse. Inspired by the deep blue Pacific Ocean and rugged cliffs along the Malibu coastline, I designed this luxury laundry room to focus on style and sanitation. All of the surfaces in this space are wipeable and scrubbable but the space still feels warm and inviting. You can view this home in its entirety HERE.
VINTAGE, CLASSIC, MASCULINE
My client, reached out to me after moving into her dream home. She wanted to reuse her childhood bedroom set for her son but it was time worn and well loved not to mention white and girly. First, I updated the furniture with navy blue paint then pulled the space together with a classic color scheme of red, white and blue. We used vintage flags as wall decor and wood and leather accents to warm up the space. Her son loves his new bedroom and it's now a space that will grow with him. Her style is vintage modern.
SPANISH, HISTORICAL, TIMELESS
When my clients purchased their historic 1920's Spanish Revival Style home, our mission was to reclaim its original beauty. A central component of Spanish Revival style is the contrast of dark and light. We repainted all of the interior and exterior walls in a creamy white paint. We replaced all of the lighting with original old world pieces that were sourced from antique vendors throughout the country.
CASUAL, COMFORT, SIMPLE ELEGANCE
OUHere in Southern California, alfresco living spaces are an extension of our homes. When they are designed and decorated well, they are the ideal spots to enjoy coffee in the morning in the warm sun or hang out and entertain around the fire pit. This space will be used year round by my client and his children so quality comfortable furnishings, comfy cushions, bright pops of color and colorful light weight throws in baskets in case it chills down in the evening create the perfect all seasons outdoor living space.
BOLD, BESPOKE, DRAMATIC,
My client, an avid wine connoisseur, hired me to create a dedicated bespoke wine room. We took a niche that used to be a laundry room, enclosed it to create a bold stylish space to preserve her ever growing collection of wine. We installed a wine cellar cooling unit, installed base cabinets in a bold red color, added wood cladding to the walls and installed a Ruby Red Vetrazzo countertop. We now have wine storage galore.....just unscrew and pour. Chin, chin!
SLEEK, STYLISH, UNIQUE

My client, a law firm partner, hired me to design a stylishly sophisticated home office for her in her La Jolla home. The highlight of this space is the boldly patterned Egret Wallpaper by Australian Artist, Florence Broadhurst. She wanted it to not only be an office but also a lounge area. We added a large desk, a gorgeous leather Human Scale office chair, lots of storage solutions, art and a modern Italian leather sofa for her poodles to curl up on and keep her company while she works.
MOODY, MASCULINE, COZY
My client was ready for a change in her master bedroom. Her bedroom felt dark and heavy which was the opposite of how she wanted it to feel. We took her room from Blah to Blue by repurposing some of her existing furniture pieces and updating them with a coat of stately blue paint. I lightened and brightened the walls, replaced the heavy bed with a linen tufted headboard and splurged on custom window treatments. Her design style is time-honored, clean and tasteful.
BOLD, MODERN, SLEEK
TRAVELED, SERENE, STORIED
My client, intelligent and a world traveler hired me to redesign her master bedroom suite. A doctor and busy single mother who frequently travels internationally on medical missions, wanted a space that felt like a retreat but also showcased her collection of textiles, wall art and collectibles in an intentional way. Her design style modern global.

My client, a busy lawyer, hired me to help remodel the kitchen in her newly purchased home. We expanded the footprint of it so that you can take advantage of the ocean views. We also added windows between the upper and lower cabinets to bring in natural light and enjoy the ocean view while in the work zone of the kitchen. The home has nods of Japanese throughout so we kept it modern and clean. The Shinnoki upper cabinets bring warmth and texture to this space and Fujiwa tile on the backsplash marry the indigo and wood tones and have mirror the movement of the ocean just outside. Note: Since we are renovating during a pandemic there are long delays on appliances. Check back to see the final photos after the appliance suite is installed.
LAYERED, VIBRANT, UNFUSSY
My bachelor client wanted a room that was designed to reflect his personal interests of skateboarding, music and travel. I used his collection of skateboard decks as the jumping off point for the color scheme in this space. His design style is eclectic with a vintage latin twist.
MASCULINE, WARM, INVITING
My client reached out to me to help him redesign his master bedroom. Since he had a quality bedroom set it was up to me to add in the layers. I used his favorite team colors, USC red and gold, as a jumping off point is this redesign. I lightened the space up by adding a cow hide art rug, a custom leather bench, all new bedding and I custom designed the sunset wall art to fit right in the niche of his canopy bed. The image is from my client's camera roll - it is a photo taken from the front door of his vacation home in Arizona. It was the perfect image I needed to warm this space up.
CASUAL, MODERN, COMFORTABLE
I designed this Gentlemen's Retreat as a personal refuge for my client. A place to relax and unwind, binge watch football on Sundays, cuddle with his two young children in the evenings (shout out to single dads) or a place to work on his laptop without disruption. He loves Lake Havasu, so I designed this custom wall mural of the London Bridge to anchor the space.
COLORFUL, MODERN, NAUTICAL
My client, an asset management company, recently rebranded their 600 unit multi-family property located in the seaside community of Point Loma. My design firm was responsible for updating the leasing and maintenance offices to blend with their new brand aesthetic. The new brand colors are blue, orange, yellow and green. The Point Loma community is best known for its rugged coastline, yachting and sports fishing activities so we agreed that a colorful modern nautical aesthetic fit the bill for this space.
COSMIC, PLAYFUL, STELLAR
My clients, both Gamers and Cosplayers, hired me to design a kitchen for them that is out of this world! We installed modern German cabinetry, brought in an artist to paint a galaxy scene on the ceiling medallion and on the island cabinet fronts using paints that glow in the dark. The white leather barstools reference a crescent moon. The backsplash is Carrara marble shaped like clouds. The island countertops looks like a glitter galaxy. It's not only a cool kitchen but super FUN-ctional as well! We created a niche for the dog bowls and added a pot filler with filtered water. Since my clients are tech-enthusiasts we added a smart lighting system so that they can change the color of the cabinet lights with their phones.

A historic home for modern living. This home had all of the charming quirks that I adore about 1930’s historic homes...the scalloped siding detail, a sleeping porch, a potting shed and even a milk bottle door. Now I understand those old Milkman jokes! My clients asked me to add even more pizazz with my signature pops of color. I embraced it's charming quirks by adding a vintage dry sink to the potting shed, staging the milk door with a vintage milk bottle and adding an outdoor lounge to the upstairs sleeping porch. It's perfect for hanging out with a glass of wine at the end of the day or inviting friends over for a BBQ.
HISTORIC, WARM, INVITING
Historic homes are my passion! My clients, busy business executives, hired me to help them decorate their seven figure historic home located in one of San Diego's most sought after neighborhoods next to our central park. This was an investment home that they would only occupy for 6 months. My clients are vintage aficionados, and knew that I could incorporate their vintage treasures, honor the history of their home while also outfitting each room with the needs of a 21st-century couple.

NURTURING, SAFE, WELCOMING
My client, a preschool director and owner, hired my firm to help design her new preschool location as well as assist in rebranding her business. Nature has a way of adding beauty, a sense of calm, and creativity to any environment. We used vintage scientific botanical illustrations as our inspiration for this custom mural. The environment sets the emotional tone of the room. Think of how you feel entering a room of strange people for the first time - it's the same for children. When the space feels warm and inviting and it conveys that you are in a caring, nurturing and safe environment.
URBAN, ZEN, MINDFUL
Urban Meditation Studios are the coffee houses of the future. People in urban areas are craving a contemplative space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My client wanted to partition off a space in a commercial building to use for prayer and meditation. I commissioned the talented group at Tecture Inc. to collaborate and custom fabricate solutions for wall art and two large mobile industrial partitions. We chose a color palette of grey, pale green and white to create a relaxing atmosphere. The artwork, created from several tones of pale green and grey yarn, were overlapped strategically around a nail perimeter to reveal the words "be still" which set the tone of the space. A pair of freestanding partitions on casters were created from several hundred feet of white ribbon, which created a sense of privacy and allowed light through not to mention the beautiful shadows that they cast.

SLEEK, MASCULINE, SEXY
When my bachelor client hired me to help him furnish his new home, it was large and it was empty. Living solo doesn't mean sacrificing style. My bachelor client, works hard and likes the premium things in life - fine dining, exotic cars and custom suits. He wanted his home to reflect his taste level and season of life that he's in.
VINTAGE, MOROCCAN, VIBRANT
My client hired me to renovate her newly acquired 1973 Airstream Argosy. We craned it into place in the backyard to create a lounge space. We decided on a Moroccan Makeover. I reimagined the inside of a Genie's Bottle taking inspiration from the 70's sitcom, I Dream Of Jeannie. We collaborated with Decorative Paint Contractor, Cassandra Schramm, and had her paint a faux plaster finish on the walls and add a gold leaf stencil border to accentuate the deep indigo ceiling treatment and gold stars. Details like, plush area rugs, a jewel-toned velvet modular sectional, vintage silk sari curtains, an abundance of decorative pillows, punched metal lighting and colorful accents were added to create the ultimate Ladies Lounge.
MODERN, JAPANESE-INSPIRED, ORGANIC
My client, a successful lawyer and international traveller, wanted her new La Jolla home to reflect her travel roots and her time living in Japan. We decided that a Modern Japanese style interior would be perfect. The Modern Japanese look is simple, functional, warm, and calming with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
VIBRANT, MODERN, BOLD
When abstract artist, Ann Golumbuk, hired me to redesign her home, we really went for it! I used Ann's abstract art as the jumping off point for this space, I wanted to create a dining space that was dramatic, modern and fun. Bold blue is the perfect backdrop to her original artwork. We decided to have her paint the dining room table and mounted it on a pair of sturdy modern table bases. Lemony yellow chairs lighten up the space and brighten up the atmosphere. This project was recently featured in the Color Issue of Window Fashion Vision Magazine and San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine.
